Chris (my husband) and I went to a friend's wedding in Winston-Salem in July. The photograph above is at Wake Forest (our alma mater) and shows Paul (the best man at our wedding) and Arnie (Erin's, Paul's fiance, and his dog). Arnie is "winking" at me below!
I took the next couple of shots at the Sculpture Garden in D.C.
These flowers were in the garden at Tudor Place - a beautiful mansion in Georgetown.
I did a maternity shoot for my friends Jenny and Wes last month. Exciting news - their beautiful baby boy arrived last night!! I am really looking forward to the infant shoot that we are planning to do once the new parents and little one are settled. These two are going to be amazing parents! By the way - for all you parents out there, Jenny is a wonderful artist and specializes in painting murals for children's rooms. Check out her work at www.jennyburgei.com.
Last weekend was my sister's (Pam's) bachelorette party. Pam is the redhead in the middle of this first photo. We spent Saturday at The Homestead in Hot Springs, VA. It was beautiful! These two are from our hike on Saturday afternoon...the weather was perfect - sunny, not too hot or humid.
